We have always been proud of our ingredients, and that we have friends that assist us in getting the best and freshest materials. It makes us glad that we can be so diverse and innovative with
Icelandic food from around us.
Yesterday, our friend Bryndís Björk from Seltjarnarnes came with fresh raspberries from the growing center Kvistar but we used those berries quite a lot and we will use them more from now
on. Then Jóhann Gunnar and his wife, Kristín, arrived with salmon, that was caught in Bárðarbungu in Langá about a day ago yesterday. To add to the dream, the chef
went down to the harbor around midnight and got some fish from Magnús.
It's good to have good friends that help us do good things.
A photo follows with this article of Kristín, the fisherman.
